Abstract

Neuromotor development in early childhood is an essential process for acquiring skills that allow the child to actively interact with the physical and social environment. The study focused on developing a playful-didactic strategy, with a constructivist-active approach, for the stimulation of neuromotor development in 3-year-old children. The research adopted a mixed methodological approach, combining qualitative and quantitative techniques. The scope was descriptive-explanatory, allowing the characterization of the motor dynamics employed. The validation of the proposal was carried out through a pre-experimental design, using a pre-test and post-test. The designed program of recreational activities was implemented over a period of 10 weeks, with the final evaluation conducted in the last week, using the Haizea-Llevant Test to assess the effects of the intervention. The results showed progressive performance in neuromotor and socio-emotional development. General motor skills were improved, demonstrating precision during movement, object manipulation, and execution of directed movements. Motor socialization was strengthened, with a notable increase in spontaneous participation during group games. The effectiveness of the playful approach as a pedagogical tool allowed the stimulation of motor, cognitive, and relational skills in the educational context from a neurodevelopmental perspective.
